Mr Oscar was a part of the family he wasn’t just a friend of the family. He loved being around Aunt Lera and the family. My brother David would come in town from Kentucky and wouldn’t leave til he saw Mr Oscar. During his sickness in the hospital David would call him from Kentucky and he loved it and would get tickled pink about their conversations. He only wanted David and Aunt Lera to know that they were only giving him a “Dry Biscuit and some water”. My prayers and condolences go out yo the family and we will continue to pray for grace and mercy!
Condolences,
Karen Burton Pryor

Oscar Moore was a true friend to my family for well over 40 years. He would come over to our house everyday and my mother, Lera Saunders, would cook dinner and we all would sit and enjoy dinner together after Oscar's prayer. This went on till a couple of months before Oscar's passing. We really enjoyed Oscar's company, having good times, laughing, playing card games (500 rummy his favorite)Even the saddest of times when Oscar had lost his son, Wayne, we prayed together. Yes, endured all of it together. Oscar
Moore meant more to us than a friend, he was our family member whom we all loved. His wonderful smiles and friendly character will be greatly missed by all of us. Our condolences go out to his brothers, sister and family. With God's blessings, may Oscar Moore rest with eternal peace on his journey to see the King of all kings. Love from the Saunders family always. My mother Lera Saunders, my brother Ricky and his wife, Diane along with their family. Myself Bill, and my wife, Melinda and our family. God bless.
